Piano Lessons by Sophi Music Policy

Lesson Scheduling

1. Lessons during the school year are based on a monthly tuition which reserves your child’s weekly slot and membership within Piano Lessons by Sophi Music studio. The time slot you have scheduled for lessons is yours and no use to anyone else as long as you hold that time.

2. Please make a note: Tuition is not billed per-lesson. It is a monthly tuition which will remain fixed from month to month. 

3. Lessons falling during holidays and school breaks will not be credited or refunded. Lessons are not taught on school holidays. Tuition is the same on holiday months. Tuition is for one year of piano lessons and has been divided into equal monthly payments.

 

Makeup lessons eligibility

1. There no refunds for missed lessons.

2. The instructor will offer two make-up lessons per student, per semester (two lessons, from September-December or two lessons, from January-June) for sickness and emergencies only. Additional time will be added to the lesson to make up for a missed one or two lessons.
    

Tuition-payment policy

 

1. Payment for lessons is pre-paid and due at the last lesson of the month for the following month’s lessons.

2. Lesson payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Summer lessons

Sophi teaches lessons all year long. Attendance at the summer session is more flexible. Students are encouraged to continue in the summer month when the SouthCal Music is open.

Students who participate during summer are given a priority in scheduling for the fall.

 

Termination of lessons

1. If termination of lessons is necessary, you are required to give SouthCal Music one month written notice (30 days).with any student for non-compliance with its policies and requirements.

2. There is no refund of tuition for lessons which you canceled.

3. Sophi reserves the right to terminate lessons at her discretion.
